KISS of the WESTbahn
In 2011, the Austrian WESTbahn put seven Stadler KISS of a 6-part long-distance variant into operation, with a maximum speed of 200 km/h. As the door anchors had come loose several times when trains met, the maximum speed was initially reduced to 160 km/h until the doors were reworked and adapted to the higher speed. The four middle carriages are each equipped with a caf area above one bogie, there are two toilets above the other bogie, while carriage 400 has a large universal toilet for people with limited mobility. The end carriages have seating groups with large tables. Our model shows exactly this 6-part version of the WESTbahn-KISS
